corporate social responsibility
In the 1960’s Randstad was founded on the belief that the value of work is a unifying force that shapes society for the better. This belief underlies Randstads long-standing embrace of corporate social responsibility (CSR), which is characterised by its history of fostering dialogue between all parties concerned and keeping the interests of all stakeholders (clients, unions, governments and workers) in mind, with the ultimate goal, to benefit society as a whole. CSR continues to be a key element in the way Randstad work today.
commitment to society
We take pride in finding suitable jobs for our candidates and ideal candidates for our clients, but our commitment to society does not stop there. We shape the future world of work by sharing our knowledge and experiences with everyone in the employment sector.
randstad and VSO: Imagine what we can do together
Randstad has a far-reaching partnership with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), a non-governmental organization. This partnership is in keeping with Randstad’s long-standing commitment to CSR and our desire to apply knowledge and skills to help alleviate poverty on a global level. VSO matches volunteers’ skills with community needs in the developing world. By borrowing from Randstad’s core competencies and having access to our network, VSO can further stimulate positive social change.
Commitment to the partnership is Group-wide, and many countries have hosted events and initiated activities that have helped raise awareness of VSO. Currently, more than 50 initiatives are under way throughout Randstad to support this partnership.
